PRE-MARRIAGE COURSE CLASS

The second batch of pre-marriage course begin on 26th of April by 10.30am at Mother Mary Hall.

HELP THE POOR AND NEEDY THROUGH ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

Members of St Vincent de Paul are soliciting help for the poor and needy in our Parish. Whatever you can afford to sacrifice to put smiles on the faces of the needy, such as food items or cash, will be greatly appreciated. You can send them through the parish Priest or to St Vincent de Paul by 5 pm. on Saturdays. May our good Lord bless you richly for your generosity, Amen.

FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

 
 The members of Divine Mercy Devotion of St Jude invite all parishioners to the feast of Mercy Novena, which begins from the 3rd to the 11th of April 2026, then Divine Mercy Sunday comes up on the 12th of April. For further details kindly refer to the notice board.

HOLY WEEK ACTIVITIES

 Easter confessions begin tomorrow, Monday, 30th March, and end on Wednesday, 1st April 2026. Morning session: 8:30am -10:00am, evening session: 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm. The Easter Triduum is as follows:
Holy Thursday 2nd April Chrism Mass at the Cathedral begins at 9:00 am. Mass of the Lord’s Supper is            by 6:00pm (This will be followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament).
On Good Friday 3rd April, Celebration of the Lord’s Passion begins by 3:00pm.
Holy Saturday 4th April, Easter Vigil Mass begins by 9:00pm.
On Easter Sunday, 5th April, there shall be three Masses here in our Parish: 6:30 am, 8:30 am & 10:30 am. There shall be no evening Mass.
On Easter Monday 6th April, Mass begins by 10:00am. There shall be no evening Mass on Easter Monday.

VENUE FOR THE LORD PASSION (GOOD FRIDAY)

 The route for the dramatization of the Lord’s Passion on Good Friday is from General Filling Station by Ilekpo bus stop Mafoluku Rd down to the church. The procession begins by 8:30am. Parishioners are advised to come along with the Red Cover booklet.

Through Basic Christian Communities, we engage in meaningful activities and programmes aimed to support and strengthen our community.

BIBLE STUDY GROUP

Participate in weekly studies to deepen your understanding of the scriptures.

Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena

Their mission is to serve the poor and marginalized through apostolates in education, healthcare, and pastoral activities. They are dedicated to preaching the gospel and living out a life of contemplation and service.

Our Parish Galilee Day comes up on Easter Monday, 6th April 2026. There will be one Mass in the Parish and after the Mass everyone goes to the field for the celebration.
